First we have Key Lime Pie. We don't yet have a picture of the completed blanket, but here's a little reminder of what it looks like:

With Apologies...
I offer the last and much belated (I'm really sorry about that) update for 2010. Since there's a lot to share, I'm breaking it down into three posts: current, finished and new blankets.
Let's start off with the current!

Twenty-five and Counting
Pinnut spent some time searching our past posts and noted how many blankets we've worked on in 2010. According to her count, the grand total comes out to 25! And that number might not even include our two newest blankets! In Pinnut's words, "This group is truly amazing, and I am so proud to be a part of it. Let’s give purlingkitten, our coordinator a HUGE “Thank You” for keeping all of these blankets circulating. We could not accomplish so much without her. Thank you, Janet!" Hear, hear! And thank you, Nancy, for compiling this information :)
Now onto some pretty pictures to better illustrate this group's awesomeness.
First up we have Baby Blueboy:

For those of you who are curious, bailchri said she used a TLC 'Wiggles' yarn for her colorful section.

Ladies, you all deserve a big round of applause. Keep up the excellent work!

Welcome Midwest Knitters!
The West Coast has merged with the Midwest and our group now includes 26 states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Very exciting!
Per our fearless leader, purlingkitten, "if you have friends, relatives or even acquaintances [from these states] please invite them to join us to create wonderful baby blankets for charity."

Completed Blankets!
We've been quite the busy group of knitters and have completed several blankets in the last couple of weeks. They're absolutely lovely, and they all happen to have Kae borders. Kae not only crochets gorgeous borders, but she's started a couple of our precious blankets, too!
Case in point, Peaches and Cream:
Such a pretty stitch! And now on to the finished blankets!
First up is Plum Pudding:
The knitters on this blanket were:
purlingkitten
krismorales

tgriffin541
krismorales
bailchri
working4yarn
kae1crafts (border)
And finally there's Jack Frost. This blanket was completed a while ago, but I'd simply forgotten to post about it. We currently don't have a picture of it, but I'll definitely add one if we get it. The knitters on this blanket were:
purlingkitten
