More Completed Blankets
Sorry for not exactly being on top of things. Life is getting in the way of posting.
The group has been hard at work on the blankets, and several have been finished.
Lemonade Stand is one of our preemie blankets. AuburnChick cast on and then the other knitters ran with it. The gals who worked on it are:
pinnut3200
dimpledapple
peattiewa
krismorales
grannydani
nannaknits
Disneyland was started by AuburnChick, who knit the red section and inserted hearts into it. They reminded her of Minnie Mouse. Each knitter selected colors that are associated with various Disney characters. AuntCrafty added the last section and then the border, which resembles Mickey Mouse ears.
The gals who worked on this blanket are:
AuburnChick
PeattieWa
Tobinknit
nannaknits
nostash2big
auntcrafty
**A special note about Disneyland. We will be donating this blanket to a knitting friend of our's who just learned of a young lady in desperate need of baby items for the upcoming birth of her child. What a generous group we have.
One other blanket update is Puppy Love. Nannaknits provided this photo with her section added:

Autumn Reds is Complete!
Nannaknits put the finishing touches on Autumn Reds. She posted the following information about the blanket:
It doesn't look like it in the picture but this blanket is pretty much square. I did the border in Chocolate brown, single crochet 5 rows with a crab stitch final row. I think it is really pretty.

Tropical Plantation is Complete!
Nannaknits, from over on KH, posted this update on Tropical Plantation:
Tropical Plantation is finished. Here is a picture of the final blankie. For the border I did three rows of single crochet followed by a row of backwards single crochet. I think they call that stitch the Crab stitch.

Little Boy Blue Should Toot His Horn!
Pumpkin Pie and Blueberry Bliss are looking Delicious!
Shandeh completed the first section of Pumpkin Pie. What beautiful fall colors!
Wyospinner quickly knit her section of Blueberry Bliss and already has it on the road to the next knitter!
GREAT job gals! The plans for this project are to take a holiday break as soon as the current blankets are finished. Everyone deserves a little R&R after such hard work!

Carousel, Puppy Love, and Pretty in Pink Join the Family Too!
Our knitters have been keeping themselves out of trouble by starting a lot of new blankets this week!
AuburnChick cast on two more. The one below is Carousel, which is the colorway of the yarn. She used the Check Pattern from the book knit & purl.
The next blanket she cast on, in her enthusiasm for the yarn and the project, is called Puppy Love. The colorway is "Puppy," and the stitch is "Twisted Moss." The yarn actually has flecks of color in it, although the picture doesn't show them.
Nannaknits cast on Pretty in Pink. She used Caron Simply Soft "Pink," and the pattern is the Diagonal Rib from this site.
